How to Vote

FootyWhale lets you predict match outcomes before kickoff. Here's how:

Finding Matches

Head to the Matches tab to see today's fixtures. Each match card shows the two teams, kickoff time, and a countdown to when voting closes.

Casting Your Vote

Each match has up to three markets to predict:

• Match Result — Home win, Draw, or Away win
• Both Teams to Score — Yes or No
• Over 2.5 Goals — Yes or No

Tap your prediction to select it. A confirmation modal will appear — once you confirm, your vote is locked permanently.

Voting Deadline

Voting closes 5 minutes before kickoff. After that, the match card shows a locked state.

What Happens Next

After the match finishes, your vote is settled as a hit or miss. Your results feed into the leaderboard, tier progression, badge tracking, and the daily crowd accumulator — where the most popular picks across all users are combined into a community-driven acca.
